The EX40MN and MNX series brings the latest imaging technologies into the world of Integrated Day Night (IDN ™) surveillance for truly outstanding 24/7 effectiveness.
Both the MN and MNX series incorporate a photocell-controlled Mechanical Filter for exceptional day/night performance. Using a dual window IR-Cut and IR-Pass filter, the MN and MNX cameras deliver brilliant color during day and sensitivity to infrared at night. Both ensure virtually zero focus shift between color and infrared modes, allowing sharp focus under all lighting conditions.
The EX40MNX uses Extreme's proprietary LXR CCD technology for outstanding spectral response in the near infrared. As with all LXR-type sensors, the video signal is characterized by low-smear, low-streak and excellent anti-blooming characteristics for excellent active-IR night vision.
Integrated Day-Night (IDN) design with Omega LED Geometry and optical lens shield deliver 40 feet of evenly-distributed Night Vision with virtually no internal reflection or "halo" effects. The varifocal, auto-iris lens not only allows easy installation, but also helps to prevent washed-out images under IR.
Vandal-resistant, all-weather ready and packed with practical enhancements such as local video out, Pan-Tilt-Twist gimbal, conduit compatibility, and a 4.0-8.0mm varifocal auto-iris lens, the EX40MN and EX40MNX is ideal for a wide variety of applications. Constructed from anodized aluminum, tested for performance in temperatures ranging from -50ºC to +60ºC (-58ºF to +140ºF).
